Not happy with the paint. There is something with me a gold pint that just doesn’t work. Testers Gold. No matter what brand they always come out dull. 4 Purple ponds and resprays I said to heck with it. But all in all came out nice.

Any shade of gold is hard to paint..I find silver or light metallic blue or other light metallics are hard..They show everything..Your car looks well done and you should be proud of your work..Its very good..I'll show you mine I did around 1996..

In the picture your Bel Air looks great. I know what you are saying about Gold and most any color with a lot of metallic in them. There is so much metallic that it's hard to keep it in suspension when you're spraying. I have had somewhat better luck with several very light coats as the thicker coats of paint tend to have the metallic particles tend to clump up or form a pattern in the paint.

Thanks guys. Wayne. Your chevy is beautiful and I agree about the metallics. My 67 Camaro was light blue metallic and same results. They seem to be difficult. I’ll try the lighter coat applications David. I think this was 3 coats.
