Here's 3 more to go with my yellow one.....i had to fill all the holes in that were on the roof for the sound buttons, the green daycab had to have the roof sectioned to make it lower. Stretched and shortened the frames accordingly.

We're are you all getting those from?

I get mine at a local Atwoods store, got 2 at Tractor Supply, they come with a nice lowboy and either a trackhoe or cable crane. I found one that had a Kubota trackhoe, but the hoe is a littler out of scale. the red/white one is basically what the look like, filled the sound buttons in on top. orange and green one both have a ton of work done to them. Oh, i think 3000toys.com has them also. Shortened the stacks on the orange one 3/4" yesterday, ill thy to get a pic back up thanks for looking

Tractor supply company? My store don't have them. Will look around.

Roughly 1/24 scale, comparable to the volvo 780. these are over a yr old, so they may b harder to find now. Kilkathy has posted a couple, I put a a yellow one on here last yr, barely got a glance, just figured no one likes NEW trucks, lol   Here is a couple of the lowboys and combines/ trackhoe with some details added, black one has a 3rd axle added, still working on em. and a new pic of the orange/ white with the stacks lowered, scratchbuilt aluminum bumper, visor, fenders , frt fender ext.,tanks , battery boxes, 2 in added to the frame, quite a bit of work on it and the green one.

I love the combines. I would love to find one. Your builds are nice.

thanks ray, the green deere actually came from walmart by itself. the new holland has had the tires changed,  need to detail both at some point.

I absolutely love the orange and white one! B)  I've bought a lot of the New Ray 579 sets for resale at TSC (Tractor Supply), Big R, and even Farm & Fleet. My best deal was late last fall when I was able to get a bunch of them for $15 apiece at TSC. I've never modified one although I've disassembled the 579. What's considered the chassis is rather convoluted, and if I ever decide to mod one I'd probably put the cab/hood/sleeper piece on a regular kit chassis.

When I was leased to Diamond Transportation I hauled quite a few combines and have been looking to build a truck hauling one. Finding a combine has been the hard part.

We carried Case/New Holland and John Deere.

Somehow, I missed this post... I, too, am smitten by that beautiful orange piece of artwork... Just beautiful... And the other ones are just as awesome.... I love these rigs, and I'm very glad Newray has produced them... The thing I like the most; I can play with them after I've improved them!!! ?

And I've also built a few 3 axle trailers out of those.... They do look pretty awesome as triples... And you can't beat the price... Tractor Supply Company, in the surrounding areas of Houston have kept me in stock for cheap....

I really like the work you've done, and I'm taking notes....
