70 Plymouth GTX

A kit I had in the stash that will just have the addition of drag radials, and plug wires, and that’s pretty much it. Pretty simplified kit to work on while taking a break from other builds.

Cleaned up the body that’s molded in blue.  Painted it with Tamiya TS-54. Has about three coats of Testors clear. I was almost going to skip the polishing, as it came out pretty smooth. But, it’s gonna ser for another day or two before I start polishing.

Nice paint. Tires look good, will watch this come together carefully.

Worked on the car a bit in the last couple days. Decided the paint looked good enough to skip polishing. Not spending a lot of time on the bench due to summer activity, but i still try to do a little here and there. Here are some pics of the final assembly. I have two other builds I plan on completing soon. Just waiting for some glue to dry on the GTX, then I can finish the under hood, front and rear bumpers, and decals. This car is pretty much out of the box, except for a few things in the engine, and drag radials. Pretty easy kit to build.
