The incredible, fabulous, amazing, awesome, over whelming Deuces Days in Victoria BC Canada is over. I am not sure of the final count but maybe half of the almost 1400 pre-1952 cars in town for the outdoor car shows were 32 Fords. I have also made posts in the contest section regarding the model car show and Under Glass on the model display of the 15 varieties of 32 Fords.

This a link to two fotki albums of the full scale cars over four days and the Sunday show.

This shot was taken at 7AM before the tens of thousand spectators arrived

Thanks Phil, those photos are so fantastic and inspiring that I might have to include it in my next overseas holiday plans.  Looks like the ultimate place for a rod run!

Cheers

This has been an every three years event and 2016 was supposed to be the last until local and provincial governments got onboard. It will be quite awhile until we know if it happen again in 2022, I sure hope so.

Thanks for the photos!

I spotted a maroon full-fendered deuce and an rpu in my hometown last night, no doubt returning from Victoria. I don't see many cars like that around here  unless there's a show on, sadly.

A huge flock of great looking Deuces (and other nice examples of early iron). Lots of inspirational reference material. Thanks for sharing these!
