tbill Posted September 22, 2019 Author Posted September 22, 2019 Finally got all the exhaust bits sorted out, and now those are painted up. Will be using the exhaust tips from the superbird kit and they will exit just under the bumper. Got the rest of the suspension parts in color as well, so will probably be able to get the chassis on wheels and engine installed this week. Also finished off the dash and steering wheel.
gotnitro? Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 Looks good Tom ! Nice detailed interior , love those pistol grip shifter
FredRPG Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 You know I wasn't that keen on this at first, I think I kept seeing the two cars separately. But when you added the black on the roof it really pulled it together some how. Nice job.
tbill Posted September 24, 2019 Author Posted September 24, 2019 Lol, not sure I was too keen on this in the beginning, but you’re right, the black top really helps it, I think once the chrome trim is done and all the bits are on it, it’ll ‘flow’ a bit more and look quite possibly like a real car.
tbill Posted September 28, 2019 Author Posted September 28, 2019 Got the trim done this morning, it’s starting to look like something now...
tbill Posted September 28, 2019 Author Posted September 28, 2019 Thanks guys ? got the wheels done ...
64SS350 Posted September 29, 2019 Posted September 29, 2019 That does look pretty cool! At certain angles, I actually wonder what a 2-3" chop would do for it? Tires look amazing!
tbill Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 Got the bed and interior stuffed in it over the weekend
tbill Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) Gotta add a few bits and the engine will be done ( gotta clean up the air filter housing it would seem, lol) Edited October 2, 2019 by tbill Added comment
tbill Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 Got the motor and frame installed, need to use a different air cleaner, as that one was too high ( one of the few things I didn’t test fit), but have another one, stripping the chrome of it now. Rear tire is just there for mock up , have to install exhaust before the rear suspension. Thanks for looking.
Sam I Am Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Maybe it's just the angle of the pics, but the nose looks a little high in the air. Like maybe the engine hasn't been installed yet.
tbill Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 I will admit, it does have a touch of nose high attitude, but it’s not extreme.
tbill Posted October 9, 2019 Author Posted October 9, 2019 Calling it done. Thanks to everyone the looked/responded, was a fun build of something different. Far from perfect, but it looks cool on the shelf.
