Wm David Green Posted September 19, 2019 Posted September 19, 2019 Another beautiful model, Michal, you are talented, sir!
David G. Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Hello Michal and welcome to the Forum. Your Chevy looks great! Beautiful paintwork and a nice color scheme. I like the contrasting colors of the interior. I built the convertible version of this a short time ago and had some difficulty with the front inner fender alignment and fitting the front bumper/grille properly. As I recall, I had to grind away some plastic from the bottom of grille to fit it up under the hood properly. If you're interested, here is a link to the build thread for my 51. And one for the finished model. Thanks for taking the time to share your work with us. I'm looking forward to seeing more. David G.
Phildaupho Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 This has got to be one of the finest builds of this kit I have ever seen. Well done.
TarheelRick Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Very nice Chevy, I like the little extra paint detail you put around the wheel openings.
Fairfax Posted September 23, 2019 Author Posted September 23, 2019 Very, very, thank you guys all for the nice sentences. I don't even deserve that. :-) For David A. Gudzinas: I looked at your links and you have a very nice Bel Air. I admire the fact that you kept all the details on the bodywork right. I see you built it with love. In truth, after this construction, I no longer found the strength to buy this 51 'Bel Air Convertible. :-)
Sledsel Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Welcome and very very nice. I looked at your others and they are equally as nice, but the little bit of rust on this build caught my eye. Good job
