ewetwo Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I have an annual 1966 Thunderbird body and chassis that came in the 2 boxes of parts I bought 2 years ago. In the box were 3 interior tubs. The difference in the 3 is the seats. 2 have the seat bottoms the same as the seat backs. Just lines. 1 has the seat bottoms as squares with the lines on the backs. Does anyone know what would be the original seats to the annual issue?
Slick Shifter Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 The tub with the mismatched pattern is 1966.
Mark Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 My annual '66 convertible, and a Seventies reissue kit, both have the interior with the different pattern on the lower cushion (the one in the car). A built '64 I checked has the pattern like the other interior.
ewetwo Posted October 20, 2019 Author Posted October 20, 2019 Thank you Mark. I wasn’t sure. Now I know.
DukeE Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Mark knows. I googled since my 66 is not handy. Love those cars. I didn't realize 64-65 had really similar upholstery, have only had original 66, never looked hard on any promos. 66 65 64
