It seems my ancient Testors red needs longer to dry/cure.
Hermann Kersten Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Looks great, chassis and interior are nice painted. I like also the rectangle lights, gives this Freihgtliner another look. What you plan for the grill, the one from the kit or are you gonna scratch one? Hermann.

I have already blackwashed all of them for both builds. Edited January 16, 2020 by Bills72sj Make text match photo

tbill Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Nice rack! ( see what I did there? Haha) seriously, that looks great. do yourself a favor, and ditch that testors tube glue, pick up a bottle of either of these two, it will change your world,

I have the two bottles of the plastruct. I use it sparingly. It works well when the is a lot of surface area for the parts to be joined and the gap is tight. I also use CA glue for things that are not clear, chrome or glossy.

Bills72sj Posted January 25, 2020 Author Posted January 25, 2020 Chainbox masked and ready for paint.
Bills72sj Posted February 3, 2020 Author Posted February 3, 2020 Got the chassis finished yesterday. As you can tell, I made a few mods.

I am currently slowly working on the cab. I have touched up the paint and done the BMF. I applied some door decals but am not sure I am satisfied with the result.
Bills72sj Posted February 27, 2020 Author Posted February 27, 2020 I have been making slow progress. Chassis has been done for a while. Finally got to glue the grille in so I can see how the "face" looks.
