Sam I Am Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 So I decided to rebuild...or Snakefu...this old diecast I have been hanging onto since 1998. So far I have it blown apart without damaging anything. I need to go dig up a larger drill bit to get the glass off. Plans are to repaint and detail a little better than the factory did, maybe change out the wheels and lose the bank parts. Like I said, I have been hanging around this section way too much.
Gramps46 Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 This will be a neat project. Please keep us posted.
Geno Posted January 23, 2020 Posted January 23, 2020 This is right up my alley lol, I love redoing diecast. Great start Sam, keep it going. I can't wait to see what you do with it.
Sam I Am Posted March 12, 2020 Author Posted March 12, 2020 So after dealing with some health issues, I felt like touching a model again. So I drilled out the rivets holding the glass in, scuffed everything up real good, and put some primer on it.
randyc Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Glad you're back and better. Keep sharing as you go please.
