KJ790 Posted September 30, 2020 Author Posted September 30, 2020 Just waiting on a few final details to arrive. I have to add turn signals and brake lights, permit decals, and a pogo stick with hoses for the trailer hookup.
vincen47 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Absolutely excellent! Again, you’ve captured that period-correct look, right down to the spot-on weathering and details.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 You just have a way of capturing that just right vintage look!! This thing looks Awesome right down to the windshield washer hoses going to the wiper arms. The weathering really makes it look real! The steps look spot on!! The widened cab and grill set it apart from the rest! Top notch work for sure!!
Force Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Looking good KJ, I really like your builds and you get the vintage look perfectly.
kilrathy10 Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Man, you are awesome at this... I love your builds... So authentic...
stenfalk Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Great art! The model reproduces very well what the original is. And the painting is a feast for the eyes!
Oldmopars Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I love this build, beautiful. The weathering is perfect, light, not overdone. It looks like a used, but not destroyed truck. Just like you would see still running up and down the road owned by a farmer or other private party. Great job on this, very inspiring.

The cab is nearing completion. Paint is complete along with some weathering. I have the wheels complete and weathered as well. Did you make the grab handles on the front of the truck or did you buy them? I'm trying to find some for my build. Also, where did you get the grill or did you make it?

gatorincebu Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 KJ , Awesome work on the cab modifications. An ambitious project . I like it ! Be Well Gator
doorsovdoon Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 Looks like a real working truck. Love the weathering and details like the rust stains on the bumper rivets. Very nice work. Those wheels look great too.
