PierreR89 Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 After about a year i finally decided to paint this. Its Revell,s snap kit so it was easy to disassemble. It has a gloss black basecoat and then i used an airbrush to paint it Darth Blue from greenstuffworld and a clearcoat over it. Its darkblue metallic that turns to dark purple metallic in the right light and angles, it was hard to capture the purple in these pic,s but it shows on some parts. I think the decals really fits it with this paint.
Bills72sj Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I just cracked my sealed kit open to see if the fenders would work on my Freightliner. I decided against it. I notiched the tires in the kit seem a bit narrow. What are your thoughts? Very nice paintwork by the way.

I got lucky in my kit and got 10 tires that was somewhat round but they need to be replaced with something better
TECHMAN Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 ??? Color combo REALLY sets the decals off!! Great job!! DJ
gatorincebu Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Great color and paint job . For wheels and tires I use the Italeri sets or the ones from Mobious ! ( spelling ? ) Be Well Gator
PierreR89 Posted March 21, 2020 Author Posted March 21, 2020 Thanks everyone Here are some pic,s that shows how it looks when it has shifted to purple.
tbill Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Nice color shift, that looks dynamite in the sun! Nice job ?
Roadrunner Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Nice looking truck. About the only thing I don't like about these kits is the complete absence of a sleeper interior, something I intend to correct on at least one of my kits, probably one of the 1:16 versions, as they're without sleeper interiors too.
