This might be a dumb question, but why don’t any of the manufactures make a 68 Bullitt Mustang.Ive got a friend who picked up a regular 68 Stang, but he needs the Bullitt wheels.Anybody know where he can find a set?

Thanks

Revell made a Bullit Mustang as a diecast bodied kit. Their current '68 Mustang plastic kit is pretty much from the same tool.

The wheels are straight American Racing Torque Thrust D. Very common in many kits. Monogram 65 Shelby kits and 66 Penski Corvette have them, and the AMT 62 Impala has a nice set of unpainted ones. Many others available.

They also made a plastic kit version in 2008.  The diecast was in 2000.

I built one and thought it looked pretty good.

More recently, Greenlight has also done a pretty decent diecast. I think I've even seen them on sale.

Scenes Unlimited makes a really nice set of resin Torque Thrust wheels in a couple of offsets, and they are cheaper than buying a complete kit.

I have one and the Charger too. Of course I bought them around 20 years ago. I haven't built them yet either. They do have pre painted diecast bodies.

I was referring to the styrene glue kit from 2008.   I also have the diecast Charger and Mustang from 20 years ago...seem to recall they have figures. Maybe not.

With all the hype on the real $3.7M one I am surprised it was not reissued.  I have seen a lot of 1/64 and 1/43 diecasts lately.   If no one comes through I can see if I have an extra set as I know I have parts from an extra Revell metal version.  I do not remember if the wheels are any different as the plastic kit was actually based on the diecast version that came out first.
