Rbray47 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 I built this from the Firestone Ford kit when I first got back into building about 5 years ago. I shortened and molded in the bed, making a closed-cab Bronco of sorts. A coworker gave me a box of trashed built-ups a few years ago. There were several monogram high rollers in there, so I used a set of wheels from one. The engine is a 390/4spd from the Amt 66 Fairlane, that I built around 01/02, and got broken during a move. The bumpers and D rings are all scratch built.
espo Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Very nice, I thought it was a Broncho at first. Great looking off road equipment and the paint is to nice to go to far into the woods.
vincen47 Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 This build has a great custom look to it. And yeah, I’d be afraid to get it dirty too.
Plowboy Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 That's a cool looking old Ford! I like the paint and the way you painted the wheels. Nice touch!
Goose1957 Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Very nice. Definitely has a Bronco look to it, nicely done. Custom bumper and parts look spot on. I'd be happy to take it four wheelin'. Jeff
mikemodeler Posted March 4, 2020 Posted March 4, 2020 Looks great! Like how you used parts to get the look .
