There are older kits by Hubley of the 1960 wagons just like this one and they aren't very expensive normally.  They appear to be the same scale as the AMT Starliner kit.

I don't know what one would cost, but they are not made from styrene (cycolac, perhaps?) Anyway, the plastic is unstable and almost any Hubley 60 Ford available today will be significantly warped, some terribly so. I would go with a good resin version.

If one were to attempt to scratch build a long roof, the Alexander Bros. used the tailgate window for their Deora windshield... that may go a long way in helping with a model.

True of the promo, but not the kit.

The kits are made from styrene like every other kit from the time, although most are molded in color.

I believe that they were all molded in an aqua color as mine is.

A lot of "ginger bread" glued to it but it's salvageable.

I acquired mine in a trade so I'm not really up on what the current value is on these kits.

Isnt the hubley kit a multi-piece body ? or am I thinking of something else.

There was a time when I was actually looking for one of them.     NOW.,,,,,, Not so much. Ive come to realize  I have more then enough to keep me busy for years to come

Here's a pretty good thread on the Hubley wagons:

Lots of stuff I never knew, and it seems they're fairly common kits for being 60 years old.

You're likely thinking of the old Revell 1957 Ford Country Squire wagon kit.

The Hubley kits were one piece bodies.
