Spottedlaurel Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 (edited) Great to see this, excellent work on the engine - it looks very effective. Painted body looks really good. I have one of these kits, looks like it has potential to build up nicely. Must put it on the 'to-do' list for 2021..... Edited November 14, 2020 by Spottedlaurel
Erik Smith Posted December 6, 2020 Author Posted December 6, 2020 Oy, slow progress is better than no progress. I remember why, as a younger modeler, I hated this era of MPC kits - now it’s more of a love hate thing. More work on all the black trim and the “glass”, which fits rather ambiguously. Hopefully it doesn’t interfere too much with the interior tub, or pop out when I have to stretch the body quite a bit to insert the tub. We will see. I also finished the exhaust on the big V6 and most of the simplified chassis.
Erik Smith Posted December 19, 2020 Author Posted December 19, 2020 The engine fills the bay. I managed to squeeze everything together with a lot of stress creaks and crackles but nothing broke loose.
Spottedlaurel Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 (edited) Nicely done. I like your use of the word ambiguous for the glass fitment, one to remember..... Edited December 19, 2020 by Spottedlaurel

Tom Geiger Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Looks great! Those oldies do build up well.
doorsovdoon Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Stunning. Beautiful colour and the interior looks very nice, very clean build.
