59 Impala Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 I just finished this 1930 Packard by Hubley and it is a good kit but, I don't want to build another metal kit. To much work to remove all the excess metal on the sprue.
unclescott58 Posted May 31, 2020 Posted May 31, 2020 A very pretty car. Nice to see someone build an old Hubley metal kit. I've heard stories that they're not easy to build. I like it.
fordf-100 Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Very nice model, good choice of the colors also! These kits are very tough with all the flashing but look nice when completed. I finished this same kit this past year and I’m not sure I would tackle another!
Eric Macleod Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 Looks like the same color scheme Kent Marburger used on his 1:1 '30 745. Nice looking model. I like it.
David G. Posted June 13, 2020 Posted June 13, 2020 I've always wanted to build one of these metal kits. Yours looks fantastic! David G.
59 Impala Posted June 13, 2020 Author Posted June 13, 2020 WOW, thanks for all the kind words. I forgot about this post. This was difficult to build as far as the flash goes but I'm pleased of how it turned out. I really don't want to build another metal kit though. Too much flash and cuts on the fingers LOL.
