Matt Bacon Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 Great kit of a classic British car. No real issues getting it together, though the "chrome" self adhesive transfers were a bit of a pain to get in place and staying attached! Zero Paints "homebrew" for the Opalescent Silver Blue paintwork and Zero 2K cleacoat on top. best, M
sjordan2 Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 Looks terrific, but these photos don't show the shiny finish of the WIP.
Italianhorses Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 Turned out wonderful! The color really shows off the lines of the car.
peekay Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 You built a beautiful model there Matt! And I totally agree with Alex about the colour.
Matt Bacon Posted June 3, 2020 Author Posted June 3, 2020 Thanks very much, guys! I think it’s an excellent kit, and even the chrome transfers weren’t as bad as I feared. @sjordan2 Don’t worry, Skip, I haven’t flattened it down... it’s just there are no point lights in my photo set-up to have a distinct reflection. All the lighting is in soft boxes. Unlike the LED room lights and work light on my bench! best, M.
Phildaupho Posted June 3, 2020 Posted June 3, 2020 Gorgeous. Beautiful model. Excellent colour choice.
beeRS Posted June 4, 2020 Posted June 4, 2020 This came out stunning. The colour really suits the Jag shape. This is a wonderful kit - I must get round to building one some day. I can only dream it turns out as nice as yours.
