Lizard Racing Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 In the WIP forum, I posted pictures of the Ferrari P4 that I originally built circa 1970. It has been in storage off and on since then. I got the idea that I could rebuild this and clean it up. Here it is after rebuilding and awaiting decals. I lost the windshield wiper in the past decades. Indycals came through for me once more , providing markings for the Daytona 2nd place car and the Firestone tire logos. OBTW, the last photos were taken with a different camera and different lighting. The car is red and not oranfe. 3
Rich Chernosky Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Those old Heller/AMT kits were great in their day. Rescuing a 50yr old build is no easy task. You did well.
Pierre Rivard Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Yes, nice rebuild. That vintage kit appears to have a nice engine which is great compared to the curbside only offering from Fujimi.
stavanzer Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 I have the Fujimi kit. I need to get some Historic Racing Miniatures wheels for it. These wheels.
1959scudetto Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Very good resurrection of the old Heller kit - I've done that several times to my old (40 years ago) builts and it is a very rewarding experience.
