The "Guardian" Dragster: On the Bench 6/19/20

Hello......I will be building a dragster something like this one.....Its called the "Guardian".......I got the resin body from a talented fabricator  Mr. Mark Garland who made this body and resin casted it......I will be building this style car with a few changes of my own liking .......It will not be called the "Guardian" ,I will have a different name for it.......but, I'm thinking of using the same paint scheme....my donor kit will be the Don Prudhomme Revell FED Dragster........I will also be using Greg Fox wheel pants for the front wheels......this build will be built slow cause I have other projects that I am currently doing......but,I will have WIP pics periodically ......thanks for looking.

Nice dragster.
You don't see the front wheel fairings anymore, I heard is that they worked like rudders and the cars got twitchy steering as a result, that's not fun in 200+ mph.

Very cool project John, it looks futuristic and nostalgic at the same time with the front engine.  The color (candy red?) is simply beautiful, I can't wait to see your magic touch on this one sir!
