Peterbilt 359 and gravel trailer

Hi!
 Here is my version of AMT's Peterbilt and trailer.
There was some cleaning in the car. The engine belts and pulleys have been redone.
Exhausts are from the Italeri series.

I put Finnish license plates on all models. In number order, Pete is fiftieth on black license plates. From 1973 white license plates.

Looks great.   Did you have to alter anything on the steer axle so the tires sit under the fenders?  It seems like most of the AMT truck kits have the tires sticking out too far.  I have 3 or 4 of these in the pile waiting for their turn at the bench.  I have 2 of the trailer kits also.  Hoping to put the 2 together and make a 35 ft. tandem axle out of it.  That is all you see out here in the western US.   Hopefully I can pull it off.

Peterbilt's axle has not been changed. The trailer tires were wide. I modified its rims.
