ranma Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 (edited) Sadly my Grandpa passed away in May 1975. My dad ended up with the pickup which he kept a few years then sold it. It really was the Only FORD pickup I ever liked so Here is my Late Grandpa's '65 Ford F-100 (pre damage copy) the real pickup had right rear quarter panel damage . My grandpa said that it was damage when he was backing a trailer.. Edited June 21, 2020 by ranma
espo Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Looks great, like a real work truck. I like the dirty slightly rusty wheels and a big rear bumper.
disconovaman Posted June 22, 2020 Posted June 22, 2020 Awesome build and a great memorial to your Grandpa! reminds me of that song... "It was just an old hand-me-down Ford With three-speed on the column and a dent in the door A young boy two hands on the wheel I can't replace the way it made me feel And I would press that clutch And I would keep it right And he'd say, a little slower son you're doing just fine Just a dirt road with trash on each side But I was Mario Andretti When Daddy let me drive"
thatz4u Posted June 24, 2020 Posted June 24, 2020 very well done, I'm building a replica of my Grandpa's 60 Merc, right paint is hard to find..
