Sweet! But if you're going for factory stock, the entire central panel on the passenger side should be brushed aluminum, not just the edge of it. Drive on! B)

You might recall my starting point...

This should be quit a restoration. I like the interior, a little shinny but I like that you can see the French Seems on the seats.

Body swap? I see this one still has windshield molding brace on it.

And what's the gold thing on the seat in the glue bomb picture? Looks kinda like a piece of .32 or .380 ACP brass.

Nose swap. The glue had deteriorated the original windshield frame so bad that it crumbled after coming out of the pond. Looked like it was broken and repaired many times. Same with the tail light panel. Guy who built this in '65 must have used the whole tube of glue on it. I wrote about this in my column but if you look at the light passing thru the plastic, you can see just how thick the original is. I plan on updating the scripts and such to the '65.

The rear deck script is the same between '63 and '65, and I believe the FI fender emblems are too, if you're using them. Only exterior emblem differences would be the nose flag emblem, and the gas filler cap.

And of course the rocker panel trim is different for all five years of the C2.

Yep! ‘65-‘67 used the same rockers. Gas cap engraving is gone as are all the emblems except the fenders. Correct and new will be added to replicate Tony’s car. He use to wake me at 2:30 AM when he rumbled  down my stone driveway.

No, they didn't. Different all three years.

At any rate, it will have road pipes anyway...

Then the question is moot. B)

So why the hard time? This is a “fun” work in progress of a car from my younger days!  The car was not stock by any means! This is not intended as a 100  point stock resto... never was!

Hey, why not put this project in the Bring Out Your Dead build? It certainly qualifies, and it looks like you'll be able to GITTER DONE by September 30. We'd be proud to have you on board! B)

I’ll look into it... thanks!

I’ve been compiling pics for an article for my column first. Then I’d post on a forum.
