absmiami Posted December 24, 2023 Author Posted December 24, 2023 As mentioned earlier - Scale Kraft was the work of Guido Fieuw - i corresponded with him briefly - at the dawn of the internet - but never asked him in any detail about the source of the bodies that he used for his castings - but the castings themselves held some clues - on the Lotus 16 - the fuel and oil tank cap detail in the tail was molded in - suggesting that Guido found an obscure 24th scale slot car body - fixed it up - and cast it -

Its nice to be able to resin cast parts here and there - and Norman - another member of the resin caster’s “hall of fame” - cast these up for me - i’ll now shape the bottom of the casting to the rounded profile of the monocoque - and get back to work completing the Gurney Lotus 29 in 24th scale
