I put the finishing touches on this last night. Body color is Testors Extreme Lacquer Bronze, with Tamiya Flat Back hood stripes, and Tamiya Gloss Black lower panels.  Interior color is Tamiya Flat Sand with a gloss coat on the seats.  Gauges & radio face are from Best Model Car Parts.  I tried to "woodgrain" the door panels & console, but I think the paint dried too quickly before i could do a lot of blending.  It looks ok, but a little light.  I did add a rearview mirror from the parts box (thanks tbill) as one was not included in the kit, the 1969 California plates are from the Revell 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS kit, and the Ploy-Glass GT tires were also from tbill.  Seemed appropriate.

A point of contention that I have, and maybe this is just me, but the model on the box clearly shows a driver's side door mirror; however, one is not included in the kit. Seriously! It is missing the horn from the engine bay. I don't know if I never had it, or I tossed it by accident, or what; but I'm not that concerned about it. What is a little concerning is that the tail light lenses that were in the box (I got this kit as an open kit from another modeler) were not the correct lenses for the kit. So, if anyone happens to have a spare set of tail light lenses for the AMT/Ertl 1969 Plymouth GTX I'd greatly appreciate the help. Oh, and a driver's side door mirror.

Thanks for looking!

Nice. Actually the horn isn't missing, it's the so called  wiper motor.  It's a road runner  meep meep  horn. My gtx has a regular  horn as well as the roadrunner horn.

Great looking build. I like your color combination on this. The Dash looks very realistic.

Thanks, Gareth.  Those Best Model Car Parts dash gauges really make it a lot easier, and the red stripes on the lower panels are actually the kit decals.
