Harry P. Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Here we go... real or model? The answer: REAL!
george 53 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 G'Mornin Harry! Glad ta see yer greetin another day! Well, Harry, my fren, I'm goin with REAL on this one. Ya got me GOOD on that last one. So I'll try to make up for it with this'n. It's REAL!...(I hope!)
B-dub Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) I'm going to go with model.. something just doesn't look right to me.. door lines Edited November 3, 2008 by B-dub
The Creative Explorer Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Real, mainly because of the headliner
Zoom Zoom Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I won't let anything in the background or foreground attempt to lead me astray! This one seems pretty easy. I'll know for sure on Friday
Clay Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I am going with real because of the reflection in the chrome.
Ronster Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Model. I guess. But the spotlight doesn't seem quite right. Maybe the grill, or sumpthing.
Pete J. Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 I'm going with real on this one. Too many small details that are very difficult to do. Chrome frames on the inside top of the windscreen. Chromed liners inside the eyelids on the headlights. May be wrong 50/50 chance, but I'm saying real. Pete J.
old-hermit Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Real, never seen a plastic chrome grill reflect like that.
Harry P. Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 Real, never seen a plastic chrome grill reflect like that. Remember...I don't necessarily limit these photos to plastic models... I've used photos of large scale metal and/or fiberglass models, models with real chrome plated brass trim, etc., some models have been as large as 1/3 scale!!! Don't just assume "1/24 scale plastic"...
old-hermit Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 If it ain't real Harry, you can tell me where to buy one Friday.
Harry P. Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 If it ain't real Harry, you can tell me where to buy one Friday. Could be a hand-made, one-of-a-kind, custom scratchbuilt model. I've used them before. I'm not saying it is... I'm saying it could be! Or not.
ricky12 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 harry are you trying to mislead us it might have worked but im going with real
Starliner Kustoms Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 It just seems to scream REAL in my head so that's what I'm going with. Although the voices in my head have been wrong before. Bernie
dmartin1 Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 ive gotta go with model. doesnt look right to me
dragmodeler Posted November 4, 2008 Posted November 4, 2008 ive gotta go with model. doesnt look right to me It could be the picture, but the side panel behind the door looks solid, no removable fender skirt. Great Model!
62SS Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I'm going to say "REAL" on this one. If it is a model, Its fantastic!!! Ed
