I bought a Pyrex casserole with a plastic lid. Works great! I also keep a jar, with a little  bit of it on the workbench, for small parts.

Yup, I have two of them.  One for 91% alcohol and one for Super Klean.

I've noticed, that, given time Super Clean will begin to etch the glass, but nowhere near enough to cause alarm.

Yes, Superclean has begun to etch my pyrex containers also.
If it’s not a rare kit, it may be cheaper to buy another one rather than all the different ineffective strippers??

Well that may be, but most often, for me anyway, I am stripping it to get a brand new, but screwed up paint job off. I'm the impatient type when it comes to fixing my mistakes, so overnight in the pond is a very reasonable solution for me.   Also a lot of my kits are Tamiyas and they generally run $30 to $100 if you can find them.

Not only that, but I can pick up a gallon of Super Clean for less than $15.00 and a cheap grocery store food storage container for a couple of bucks.

The Super Clean can last me for up to a couple of years and will strip numerous bodies and other parts.

If I did the math, I would probably have to get my models for about $1.00 apiece to justify that theory.

Plus, I don't think one can consider Super Clean as an "ineffective stripper".

It does nearly every job that I throw at it, and does it quite well without having to scour the countryside or rifle through the internet to find it.

I can pick up a jug any time that my little heart desires from my local auto parts store.

No muss, no fuss.

Rustoleum, Krylon, etc primer will etch the plastic to give it bite.  This makes it really difficult to remove with conventional stripping agents.
