R M Zombie Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Built this a couple years ago, added details, braided lines with A&N fittings, electrical box, extra fire extinguisher, aluminum rod for steering and radius rods, lowered the chassis, added rocker trim and spoiler extensions, bolt detail around front/rear glass, also used new tires and rims from re-released Hawaiian funny car. 1
majel Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Very nice job, love the large scale funny cars. This was the last car i finished, did the blue US Marines version.
Hmann68 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Beautiful! Super clean work, and great detail too ?
Steamboat Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Excellent job. The extra detail is spot on. I saw the 1:1 Grand Am funny car at Gator Nationals last year. I was amazed at how small it was. It must be about 2/3 the size of a stock Pontiac body. If you look at the size of the driver's seat in the model you can get an idea of the perspective.
vamach1 Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Super nice paint and detailing and decals and everything.
