The early 70s MPC Chevy truck I have has a fancy interior with buckets and console, since I want to rebuild it as a basic truck was there ever one made with a bench seat. I looked at my GMC shortbed and it also has buckets but no console.

You could use the bench seat from the Revell '64 - '66 c10.     I'd have to look, but may have an extra.

Neither the AMT or MPC late '60s early '70s Chevy pickups had bench seats. Which is pretty annoying since the bucket seats were quite rare even in the Cheyenne. MPC continued the bucket seats interior all the way up to the '84 GMC and later model Chevies. I'm going to change the buckets out whenever I get around to building the GMC long stepside I have planned.

They're molded in on all of them. It would be as simple as cutting it out and a piece of styrene on the back. The new seat would cover the rest.

With the upcoming release of the Racers Wedge and next year's arrival of the pickup reissue, if someone were to offer a resin tub with a bench seat they would probably sell a few.

Only if a caster could make them cheap enough that it would be worth it to the builder.
