Kit Basher Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Revell/Fujimi kit. The paint is a mixture of Testors Dark Blue and Gloss Black. This is not intended as a replica of any particular car, just a color scheme that I like. A quick, relatively easy, and fun model.
Venom Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Cool Hugh! It turned out well. I’m happy to see this up here...I’m currently working on one also. Doing it in the gold 3rd place Le Mans
Kit Basher Posted November 14, 2020 Author Posted November 14, 2020 Thanks, Josh! I look forward to seeing your gold one.
Safire6 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Great job, I like the color you selected. It looks very period correct.
cobraman Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Looks great ! One of my favorite cars right behind Shelby Cobra's and the Daytona.

Unfortunately, the prices of those kits and the GT 40 have skyrocketed since the movie. Fujimi should re-release both! Edited November 14, 2020 by Kit Basher

Revell reboxed them and I think they were $20 retail and at that price they did not sell that well. I bought almost every Fujumi when they came out but it’s been years since they released any new ones.
