cheyenne93 Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 (edited) Started this a while back, kinda lost interest in it. Dug it out the other day and decided to get back into it. Gona do a two tone, baby or powder blue and white. Already added side moldings and drip rails. Dumped the 350 and put a 454 in it. Thanks for looking. Edited November 30, 2020 by cheyenne93
slusher Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Looking really nice, I like your plans for it, will be watching...
mikemodeler Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Looks like a great start, the colors sound perfect. The side trim looks good, what size did you use to create it? I have plans to do one of these like that but haven't figured out what size to go with.
espo Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Great job on adding the moldings. I have started doing this on a few builds and really like how much it adds to the appearance.

cheyenne93 Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 Got primer on the GMC, decided to throw an AMT dirt bike in it. Ready to ride.
Mopar - D Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Your bike will go good in the back of your truck. Nice work on the bike.
cheyenne93 Posted December 8, 2020 Author Posted December 8, 2020 (edited) Thanks. Was fun building and detailing the bike. Glad I have another one to build. Edited December 8, 2020 by cheyenne93
cheyenne93 Posted December 11, 2020 Author Posted December 11, 2020 Made a little more progress on the GMC. Got the white on it. Also repositioned the shock mounts ( didn't like the angle of them). Also scratched out some shocks. Because I gave it a little bit of lift so originals were to short. Here are a couple of pics of the F250 I'M going to build. Going to attempt to build camper shell and make it an off road bug out vehicle. Thanks for lookin and the input.?
mikemodeler Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Nice pair of trucks, coming along nicely. Is that suspension on the Ford from BNL resins?
slusher Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Real nice chassis. What’s your other color beside white?

cheyenne93 Posted December 13, 2020 Author Posted December 13, 2020 Got the blue on. Gotta do a little touch up, but pretty pleased with the way it came out.
mikemodeler Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Looking very nice. I have to get some of that Evergreen to do one of my trucks side trim.
Mopar - D Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Joel fantastic painting and your trim on the sides makes it really pop. I did the same trim on my 74 Jimmy about 7 years ago. Looking forward to seeing you finish your build.

Mopar - D Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 The Jimmy is what my 1:1 looked like when I had it back in 1979 - 1982. It was a fun truck back then. Thanks for your comment.
cheyenne93 Posted December 15, 2020 Author Posted December 15, 2020 (edited) Got dusting the other day. This was sitting in the back corner of the case so I took a few pics. I built this for my father in law back in 92. It was of the first brand new truck he had ever bought. Upon his passing in 2015 my mother in law returned it to me, and told me that this and the 1:1 that he still owned were two of his most prized possessions. The running boards and mud flaps were scratch built . Thanks for lookin.? Edited December 15, 2020 by cheyenne93
cheyenne93 Posted December 21, 2020 Author Posted December 21, 2020 Finally got the hood done and painted and everything cleared. After getting a path shoveled to the shop. Now on to getting the moldings foiled. Thanks for lookin.?
slusher Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 Your Chevy looks fantastic, what blue did you use? Your Ford you built and took pictures of is very sharp!
