BlackSheep214 Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Saw this kit on eBay. Anyone know about this kit? Looks pretty cool though.
afx Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Challenging kit to build but with effort it can be turned into something nice. I built a stock version kit based with a Fujimi engine and wheels. I scratch built the headers.
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Though afx did a very fine job with the kit (and has done a nice fender-flared conversion as well), the basic kit has several shape, line, and proportion flaws. Most noticeable is the odd kink in the rear edge of the sail-panel. The proportions of the front fenders are wrong too. There's more, but it's a great place to start, and just fine as-is if you're not a stickler for visual accuracy.

TransAmMike Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 As a former 914/4 owner I complement you on that build. I always thoght the 914/6 would be a great drivers car because the 914/4 sure was fun but of course VW'esk power.
afx Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Appreciate the comments gentlemen. Here is my 914-6 GT that Ace-Garageguy mentioned.
