Challenging kit to build but with effort it can be turned into something nice.  I built a stock version kit based with a Fujimi engine and wheels.  I scratch built the headers.

Though afx did a very fine job with the kit (and has done a nice fender-flared conversion as well), the basic kit has several shape, line, and proportion flaws.

Most noticeable is the odd kink in the rear edge of the sail-panel. The proportions of the front fenders are wrong too.

There's more, but it's a great place to start, and just fine as-is if you're not a stickler for visual accuracy.

Which Fujimi kit, the 930?

The basic engine (block, transmission and fan) is all the same in the Fujimi 911/930 EM kits.  The only difference between the kits are the induction and exhaust systems included.

I hate the real car, but you made the model look real good.

Good enough that I may have to try to make something like this someday.

Congrats!

As a former 914/4 owner I complement you on that build.  I always thoght the 914/6 would be a great drivers car because the 914/4 sure was fun but of course VW'esk power.
