Classicgas Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Thought it might be neat to put my 2 General Lee builds side by side. The 1/25 i built probably back in 05 or so.
Captain Spaulding Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Good job, both are nice looking Generals
Classicgas Posted December 6, 2020 Author Posted December 6, 2020 Thanks. I realize Hemi orange on the big one isn't correct, but when I built it, there was minimal information.
spencer1984 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 They look good, nicely done! I also painted mine Hemi Orange, in part because it gave me an excuse to check that color off my "High Impact" build list. Besides, when it comes to Generals, any orange is correct!
disconovaman Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 Terrific builds and the Hemi Orange is a pretty color. Your photos really show off the metallic in the paint. Looks great on the car. I've built many GLs and I always use regular Testors Competition Orange, even though it's bright and probably not accurate, It's what I've always used so I just go with it...
Oldmopars Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Looks great. BTW, a little trivia fact for you. The little crossed flags on the rear by the antenna was only used on the first 5 episodes of the show. Those episodes were also filmed in Georgia, after that they were filmed in LA and used some of the same roads and back drops as M.A.S.H. You did a great job on the General.
