i based this build on a 2021 hot wheels car
i used a promo i had but it did not hve the correct hood or front seats  the hot wheels car had a grabber hood and bucket seats  also the hot wheels car had tribal flames instead of normal flames
i also was not going to permenatly modify a promo so i used tacky glue to attach all the extra stuff i added like the fender mounted mirrors the trunk lid spoiler the chin spoiler the rocker panel extentions  the extra rallye style lights in the grille and the shifter the only the only things absent is the front and back wheel well fender flares i would have had to sculpt those on to the body and they would have been permenant  i did swap the promo steering wheels out for something a little more fiting of this custom  style
the tires and rims were in my rim and tire box  i painted the rims testors extreme lacquer inca gold  which made them match the hot wheels car rims
the body i painted with testors extreme lacquer revvin red  i used a yellow testors paint pen to paint the extention of the hood flames down to the edge of the hood

I've heard some builders tear down a great build for the parts to make another great build, but reusing the body  for another project ? That's a clever idea. as I enjoy the building of a model, over the finishing of a build. This may be something I would like to try.  Thank you for sharing this with us Michelle, you may be on to something.
