Last year, two young builders presented these cool models in the DESERT SCALE CLASSIC dscV16 Virtual Venue (OnLine) Model Car Championship.

 

The future looks bright to me!

Awesome that some youngsters are building and entering a contest!  They did a good job too.

I entered in the County Fair for years, before my first legitimate model contest.  Last century, contests gave out a model just for entering.  Remember the Copper State Model Car Championship?  It was '91 or '92 that I picked a Corvette, which got kit-bashed with a '39 Chevy.  I didn't get any award that first show.  Might get more youngsters entering if a model was part of the deal.
