Did this as a mild custom . One reason was because the windshield frame was a mess . No way to save it . So... I cut it off which meant I had to cut down the windshield . I used a Scale Repo magneto . Tires were also a bit out of shape but I made them work . The body needed a lot of clean up . Lots of mold lines . Paint is Tamiya Pure Orange with a Tamiya Pearl White stripe with black decals as a border . I did not realize that the white would have been so miss colored by the orange . I should have used some white primer before spraying the Pearl White . Lesson learned. All in all not a bad kit . Mostly happy with results . Thanks for looking .

That stripe looks cool .If you hadn't said anything ,it would look like you had planned it that way. Nice build

Bingo! I think it looks better than a completely white stripe

That looks really nice! I bought one at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and fortunately the windshield frame is ok. I built a few big scale cars when i was young but not this one and I'm now looking forward to it. I think bigger scales are easier to get a good paint finish on.

Nice looking car Ray, it almost has that creamsicle look with the interior/exterior combination.  Engine compartment looks great!
