*Best Paint Color For Part*

I used Testors flat rubber on my engine hoses and it looks more brown.  Is there a list someone has put together for best none custom colors (enamel, craft paint, etc) for hoses, belts, exhaust, aluminum, etc.

Tamiya makes a Rubber Black that a lot of builders swear by. I plan on buying it as soon as I run out of Flat Black.

Second vote for Tamiya's Rubber : Black paint . I believe that it's available in aerosol as well .

Overall I am not a big fan of the little square Testor's bottles, but the rubber works for me as well as the Tamiya.

I like Model Master acrylic semigloss black. Seems to flow nicely.

The "rubber" blacks have a bit of brown in them.

If you can find it, I recommend Testor's acrylic Aircraft Interior black.

I spray my heater and radiator hoses with Krylon flat black. They dry to a nice semi gloss..

I use Tamiya NATO black.  It's not as brown as the tire black but not too black.  If that makes sense.
