Even then, Revell made the centers too large and flat: (source: http://vintagewheelcatalogs.com/ansen/) Definitely not those. The correct (Ansen Apollo) wheel is pictured elsewhere in this thread.
unclescott58 Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 I’m working on my Revell Henry J as we speak. It’s going together, so far, better than I expected. Should have it posted on this site within the next week or so. 1
TonyK Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Just started mine also. I've read good things about the build so look forward to not having any problems. Won't be finishing it any time soon as I paint outside and gonna be too cold for that. (Not as cold as the outdoor hockey game last night in Minnesota!)

Casey Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 This one looks a bit closer to yellow, but, hard to judge the color accurately from an online image. I think this is the original issue from 1969(?):

It looks like it was issued in slightly different boxes in 1969, both with the H-1292 kit number, with the main body parts molded in either red...: ...or pale green: And that mail-away record offer inside: Interesting decal sheet, too, with some neat (though blurry) vintage logos: H-1315 issue from 1972: H-1328 from 1976: 85-2036 Revell/Model King reissue from 2006: Edited March 2, 2022 by Casey
