Gramps46 Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 This BMW 507 just arrived today and I am pretty pleased with it. It is by Welly and is 1/24th scale with posable steering and opening hood. Here is the Welly beside the Maisto version which is labeled as a 1955. There are detail difference in the bodies which to me means they are not from the same mold.
Snake45 Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Very cool, very pretty car! I think I might have seen these at Rite-Aid some time back, before I knew what they were or had started my "cool sports cars" collection. The next one of these I see at Rite-Aid is mine! Thanks for posting it!
slusher Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 Very sharp car! Great shade of red which grabs your attention on a sports car..
MrObsessive Posted May 1, 2021 Posted May 1, 2021 I have to admit......for what some might think are "cheap diecasts", many of their models are downright NICE! I have the ROG kit of this car, but if I come across this, I'd certainly like to grab one. ? Now if we can get them to do a 1965 Volvo P1800.............

Dominik Posted July 7, 2021 Posted July 7, 2021 that Welly looks pretty good! imo, the times of ugly diecast "only to play with" are long gone. Sometimes if i am searching for 1/24 scale models, i found them in the DieCast Corners. And i have great fun to deassamble and work on them.
