Up $7.00 if this goes on any longer I will not buy kits anymore ,Round2 has to start doing them in the USA or Canada .

To be fair, Peter V from Atlantis mentioned raw material prices had increased greatly over the last few months, and that kit prices would follow.

Me thinks folks missed the obvious.. Round 2 now has Roth licensing!

$7 bump - 40% is only $4.20. Lol.
Assume Revell jacked Roth around like TD? Other than truck decals (all the show semis Roth did?) what tool does R2 have for this?
Buy license so Revell tool bank has to sit?
Or more wrapped shelf sitters for Roth memorabilia people. Odd.

10% of 71.95 would be $7.19...$7.20 for rounding. 40% would be over 28 bucks.

One thing everyone is over looking is the increase in oil prices since January.  Remember when you bought gas for $1.87 this past January, and now it's $3.39?  Yep 181% price increase.  Plastic is based off oil, so expect ALL plastic kits prices to once again take a big leap.  And that increase in oil prices affects shipping and transportation costs as well, which are jumping way up as well.

Not this. 40% of delta, not sum (28.74)

This. $4.2 Everyone here insistent on 40% off

More interested in why they bought licensing since nothing in tool bank matches really. Revell and Atlantis have lots  Odd way to spend capital

Photo of ships waiting at anchor to unload. 60+ ships LA LB area alone. Labor to unload up, anchorage fees up, fuel up, don’t forget awesome tariffs, and 6% (2%?) inflation. C7B9C9DB-7F6B-4155-96D9-719190CA0C47.jpeg.3d9fb44374fb1444786cb482eec47c37.jpeg

I'm in on these (the truck and trailer, not the diecast bucket truck).  It's too bad Revell did the Roth cars, otherwise maybe Round 2 would have issued the Haulaway trailer as a companion piece, instead of an enclosed trailer...

Doesn't AMT/MPC, et.al. Have molds for a TV Tommy Ivo type enclosed trailer that had sides of clear panels so the car(s) inside could be seen while going down the road? Something like that would be perfect for sticking one of the early Roth kits, or even the Beatnik Bandit II would be an appropriate vehicle for it. I'd be interested in something like that more than an enclosed trailer with Rat Fink decals, unless some kind of Roth vehicle was in the deal with it.

Round 2 has the MPC Haulaway Trailer, which has the entire upper body molded in clear.  It's available now; my LHS has a couple of them.  I thought about picking another one up, but remembered I had one or two of the last issue on my sale pile.

Round2 has a clear trailer kit. BUT it is only big enough for a small sedan......made to hold the MPC Ford Mark IV race car. I do not think ANY rail would fit in it.
