Scratchbuilding Chassis

Does anybody use jigs to scratchbuild there chassis? If so could some of you show me what you use so I can get some ideas.

I should have kept my slot car jigs. Look up slot car chassis jig, especially for drag cars, it's a longer unit.

When I build a brass chassis,  I assemble and solder it while pinned to a slab of balsa. I mark all the critical points with a pencil--wheelbase, centerline,  track width, etc.
