Ctmodeler Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Opened up and starting next recovery build. Revell Beretta Pro Street. One of those kits I had as a kid. Will keep you posted on the goings. If anyone has built this would love to see theirs
Ctmodeler Posted July 30, 2021 Author Posted July 30, 2021 Building this kit box stock. No plumbing or wiring . So far this kit has been a breeze. Goes together nice and the engraving on the pieces seems to be really nice ! A welcome change from old amt kits for sure !
Ctmodeler Posted August 1, 2021 Author Posted August 1, 2021 Update on the beretta. Going together nice and easy. Love revell kits ! Comments always welcome. 1
ybsluos Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 (edited) Kenneth, your Beretta looks fantastic so far. I built this one about 20 years ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Too bad I gave it to my guitar player in my band at the time! I wish I still had it. Anyhow I like the way you did the pink rocker switches and the multicolored shift knobs. Very 80s Pro Street. As you can tell from my avatar I too am a pro street fan. That’s my ugly green primer 69 nova tube chassis car in the picture. It looks way faster than it is but it sure is fun to drive. Anyhow brother keep on building. I’d like to see this one finished!-Mark Edited August 3, 2021 by ybsluos Typos

Davewilly Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 Looks pretty good. I built a couple of them (this one and a Stock Beretta) when they first came out. they are not to bad of a kit.
NYLIBUD Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 Oh man if I had a dollar for everyone of these kits I’ve built over the years,I’d be a rich man.Plus the Rick Dobbertin car, which essentially had the same chassis/cage.Are you going to paint it?If not, maybe just clear it.That’s what was cool about these models back in the day, they molded them in the colors the cars were supposed to be,not just plain white,or dull gray, like today’s kits.Nice work…

Thanks for looking
Rocking Rodney Rat Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 Boy this takes me back. That Rick Dobbertin car was all the rage when it came out. I built that one, the Beretta and the Corvette version. Bring it on!!! -RRR
vtecfour Posted August 29, 2021 Posted August 29, 2021 I've got this car coming my way but won't get my hands on it for a couple of months. In the meantime, could you provide some measurements? - Width from tire sidewall to sidewall, fronts and rears - Wheelbase I'd like to see what other bodies this chassis could fit. Thanks if you can.
