Jon Haigwood Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Doing a Foose FD100 Panel conversion. As we know the Foose is 1/25th and the Revell Panel is 1/24th. I have narrowed the panel roof a smidge , chopped and shortened the panel roof. Reduced the height of the lower half to match the cab height. And removed some from the bottom of the rear fenders. I just need to finish where the back of the doors meet the back. As I look at it now in my eye it looks a bit on the long side. I am considering shortening the back about 3.5 scale inches at the rear fenders. It looks like the fender openings are to big and taking plastic out at this location would be fairly straight forward, I have already lengthened the Foose frame and connected the Foose Cab to the panel floor. Is there a site where I can get the factory dimensions for the 54/56 Ford Panel so I can have something for comparison ?
NOBLNG Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 (edited) I don’t know, but I would just go by eyeball. Edited September 13, 2021 by NOBLNG
Oldcarfan27 Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Front wheelwell is too far forward. Hood slopes down more than stock. Part of the foose modifications.
1930fordpickup Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 For the rear view of you truck. I don't think you are to far off.
Rodent Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 It looks pretty good to me proportionally. It's not like you are going replica stock with it.

Ace-Garageguy Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 With a little measuring and simple arithmetic, you can scale quite accurately from the light blue side shot posted above. Assume 15" wheels and go from there. Easy.

Maybe because I edited the pic? I originally googled a ‘54 which apparently has sloping A-pillars…quite different!? Edited September 14, 2021 by NOBLNG
