Oldcarfan27 Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 Don't sell yourself short on your weathering techniques. The chassis and inside the unit look just like well worn STEEL! and that's tough to accomplish. The outside looks so clean, but I get the feeling, if you're like me, that when you built it, it came out so good that you didn't want to mess it up by weathering it too much! The operating features are just "icing on the cake". It all looks great!
440 Dakota Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 wonderful build, just like I remember Toledo using when I was a kid
happy grumpy Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 wow Tom, this a show stopper. The amount of work is impressive and the details are right on. I really like the weathering of the underside.15 years and looks like it was finished yesterday. Like I said in my intro when I joined , I was really inspired by people like you to push myself to do better builds. congrats, a really beautiful build the only thing missing is the smell (we can do without)?
gatorincebu Posted October 20, 2021 Posted October 20, 2021 Awesome build. You have done what I only ever dreamed about doing . And did a real fine job on it as well. Be Well Gator
doorsovdoon Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Spectacular build there, I really like the wear and tear weathering in the compactor. Fantastic looking truck, very nice!
