Hi all :)

Thank you very much. I'm glad you like the work put in so far :)

Over the past weekend I didn't have that much time to continue on the Ford but there is some small progress I can show you.

First of all the dashboard was attached to the interior tub. I thought I should take a picture before installing the door panels which would block the view. I really hope, I don't have to touch the dashboard again. I got the impression that it fell apart every second time I touched it ?

And the body parts have been clear coated. There are some dust particles here and there I'll have to sand out, but I'll wait at least one to two more days before starting with that process to let the clear completely cure first.

That's all for this week :)

Hi all :)

This week the interior tub got the door panels attached

After that the font and rear axles and the interior tub were joined with the undercarriage

And last but not least, the body parts have been sanded, polished and waxed. Unfortunately I managed to sand through to the bare plastic on the body on two, three spots. So I had to partially repaint today and will apply some clear coat later this week. To show you the result of polishing, I attach a pic of the two side skirts, awaiting their installment on the finished body.

That's all for this week's update :)

Impressive skill and perseverance. It is all paying off now. ?

well done.

Thank you :)

This week I managed to repaint the few spots where I sanded through. Yesterday I then clear coated these spots, now I'm waiting for the clear to cure before starting againg with sanding and polishing the body. Hopefully this time without sanding through ?

Hi all ?

As mentioned in my last post, this week I repainted the few spots where I sanded through and clear coated it again. Meanwhile I finished sanding and polishing

So I could start insalling the PE parts to the body.

That's all for this week's update. I hope that this was the second to last update in this build and am looking forward to my next project. Don't ask what it will be, as I don't know it myself yet ?

Hi all :)

Somehow I didn't manage to get as much done as I would have liked, but I only noticed when I wanted to finish the build, that there were still some parts that needed to be painted. Technically no big deal but as I didn't feel like using the airbrush for the last few days I always postponed it to the next day and the day after and...
But some progress could be acheived anyway, so I can show you the current standing of the build

That's all for today. I hope that my next update will be the last one in this W.I.P. :)

Hi all :)

Thank you for your kind comments ?

Yesterday was wedding day and today the last few parts could be attached to the body, so I'm calling this done :)

This is how it looked before the wedding ceremony

And here two pictures of the final result

More and better pics will follow in the Under Glass section after I was at the studio for the next time.
Thank you all for your interest in this build and your comments and tips. I hope you'll join in on my next build which will start soon.
