happy grumpy Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 newly tooled and true to scale (if there is such a thing in sci fi ), this little gem is a breeze to build . The details are finely molded, and the high quality decals make this little critter a nice piece to put on a shelve . Round 2 announced recently they are developing the 1/48 version. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Although not a big fan of the show, I always admired Brian Johnson's designs, they have that logical, functional approach of what an engineer at NASA could come up with. 2
DPNM Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 This turned out really well Mario. Good workmanship. I think I'll be getting me one of these kits.
Mike C Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 That looks really good. It's nice ship from a cheesy show. I used to watch it all the time in the 70's. I remember hearing about this new sci-fi show that was coming out when I was in college.
unclescott58 Posted July 27, 2024 Posted July 27, 2024 Very nice. I like your landing gear. Something the kits or studio models did not have. But, in my opinion, needed. 1
Sonorandog Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 That looks fantastic. Great job. I love the ships from Space 1999. I agree with you, the show never did it for me but I loved to see pictures of the ships. 1
stavanzer Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 The Space Ships were always the Best Part of the show. (well, except for Maya) 1
TooOld Posted August 20, 2024 Posted August 20, 2024 Not familiar with the show but this is a really cool looking ship ! Lot's of fine detailing , great job ! 1
JNordgren42 Posted August 22, 2024 Posted August 22, 2024 Really nice job on your Hawk! I've got a 1/72 Eagle that's in bench purgatory while I design 3D printed hyper detail parts for it and figure out lighting. 1
