IPMS Modelzona - Mesa, AZ. 10/6

IPMS shows are often not very car-heavy, but Arizona modelers must not have gotten the memo. This show was great, and the models in the other categories were just downright epic. Something for everyone here.

Thanks for the pictures, that is an amazing looking group of models.  Nice to see the car guys so well represented.  Definitely want to try to make it to this show next year!

Thanks for the photos. I attended a IPMS event there a few years ago. People were great. On top of the IPMS club there were two other model car clubs. I think they were the same club with different times as jobs and other things were in the way. The guys were showing me how to scratch build leaf springs out of plastic and brass. Yes they did not get the memo on IPMS events. A lot of cars and I loved it. The vendors were also car heavy. Great to see that also. Will return

Not only that! . . . 

But, the blue with black stripes Cobra 427 SC Roadster won Best in Class . . . AND . . . Best Automotive . . . AND . . . Best in Show (Overall)!!!!!

YES!  A car model won Best in Show!!!!  In an IPMS Regional contest!!!! 

Ain't no anti-car bias in Phoenix!
