dino246gt Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Fantastic work on that 4 link! And you've absolutely nailed the stance, with the perfect wheel/tire combo, oh man that is looking so sweet! 1
customline Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Glad you decided to get back to this one, Greg. The chassis work looks terrific. 1
NOBLNG Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 I modified and relocated the steering box and got some linkages made. Still have to run a shaft up to the firewall. And I need to fab up some front and rear shocks and that should be about it for the suspension. 4

Zippi Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Looking good Greg. I had trouble with both the 36's I build getting the sprue goo sanded down nicely. Yours should turn out better than mine did. 1
customline Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Greg, the black body looks like you could put jump-seats in the back. A sort of phantom, maybe? It kinda reminds me of the '39 Chevy coupe. Sanding it into shape should be fun 🙂. 1
NOBLNG Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 I am actually using the Boss 302 engine from the Revell 2013 Mustang kit. So I decided to scavenge the exhaust system for parts. I used the catalytic converters, then a short pipe made from 1/16” Evergreen to connect to the mufflers. The mufflers I narrowed to get room for a driveshaft and then made the rear pipes from .080” Evergreen. I’m not sure if I will dump them there or fab up some tailpipes yet. I also made a driveshaft using the Mustang ends, some 1/8” tube and .060” hex. 7
LennyB Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Don't forget to put some O2 sensor on for those CATS, don't want you throwing any codes.

johnyrotten Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Great work so far, I enjoy checking out your builds. The scratch building you, and other members here, is awesome. Nice job on the 4 link. 1
NOBLNG Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 I added the cross-over pipe and that’s it for today…I’m exhausted.🥴 4 1

BK9300 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Very impressive modifications to your frame, right down to the pins for your engine mounts - very nice! 1
