Matt T. Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Does anyone know of any grille options in the aftermarket for the MPC Deserter kit? Chevy or GMC, for ‘78 - ‘87 cabs? Thanks.
stitchdup Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 I've seen most styles on ebay in 3d printed resin, some custom versions too. There was quite a few vendors that had them
av405 Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Iceman Collections on ebay has 1981-1982, 1983-1984, and 1985-1988 Chevy grills for the Deserter Kit: https://www.ebay.com/str/icemancollections His store is closed for the holidays so you're going to have to wait until next week.
stitchdup Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Iceman just sent an email saying he wont be on ebay soon, but he is opening his own store in january icemancollections.com
Matt T. Posted December 22, 2021 Author Posted December 22, 2021 Thanks guys! I thought I saw some on eBay, but they are all gone. I have a ‘66 GMC grille/tailgate upgrade set from Iceman and it is NICE! I will check his website in 2022.

Bugatti Fan Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Deserter seems an odd choice of vehicle name. It put me in mind of a TV comedy sketch that I saw years ago. A young boy was opening his birthday present to find his Action Man box empty. 'Dad, there's nothing in the box!'. Dad replied 'It's an Action Man Deserter son!'
