Koellefornia Kid Posted December 25, 2021 Posted December 25, 2021 Hi guys, I just finished a new build a few days ago. It’s a ´36 Ford Humpback Sedan: Based on Amt´s Dick Tracy kit with a Mill City Replicas resin body and some parts box items I chopped the top a few scale inches, lowered the suspension and added set of Torque Thrusts from Revell´s ´32 Ford coupe Under the hood sits a SBC from Monogram´s Deuce roadster This was my third approach to amt´s ´36 Ford kits. It may not be the best kit but it’s a nice canvas for many different styles: Thanks for looking and as always: comments are welcome 1
alan barton Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 That is a very nice street rod there, Oliver. I do like the chopped Tudor - you have given it a more aggressive chop than most full sized rodders and it has really amped up the attitude. Cheers Alan
Zippi Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Nice looking Sedan Oliver. I love the old school fat fender cars.
doorsovdoon Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Great looking rod. Love the Torque Thrusts, they suit it so well.
BeakDoc Posted December 26, 2021 Posted December 26, 2021 Nicely done, Oliver. I’m digging the subtle flame job.
Koellefornia Kid Posted December 27, 2021 Author Posted December 27, 2021 Thanks a lot, guys! 22 hours ago, alan barton said: you have given it a more aggressive chop than most full sized rodders That happened by accident. I wanted to do a very subtle chop for the roof looked a bit too tall. While cutting, one of the b-pillars broke completely away and I decided to chop it a little more than I intended... Nice to know it still looks good ?
