Vintage Heavy Duty truck to pull two car trailer ?

Recommended Posts

There used to be a Die Cast Roll Back style truck with a cab that looked like a prewar COE. Maybe a scratch built two car flatbed trailer with a fifth wheel goose neck on a '34 or '37 Ford pickup with a flatbed instead of a pickup bed.

There are quite a few vintage COE cabs in resin available through eBay and other sources, not hard to find with a little effort.

Mount the cab on a later-model COE chassis, and you get the best of both worlds: classic truck looks with more pulling power and reliability.  1:1 guys do it frequently.
